With Hitler dead, would've WWII still happened?  You bet it would've and Red Alert, a member of the popular Command and Conquer series is living proof of that.  The story line:  Joseph Stalin, big cheese in Russia takes a trip back in time to get rid of Hitler.  Stalin takes Hitler's position in World War II, making Russia the main threat.

The Game:  You control either the Soviets or Allies to stop your opponent from winning the battles. 

The Units:  The typical units, tanks, rifle infantry, grande throwers, etc.  But units that are not so familiar include submarines, cruisers, MIGs, mammoth tanks, and flamethrowers.  These units help to make the game more exciteing and the options limitless.

The Technology:  There are many new types of technology to Red Alert.  One of these is the chrnosphere.   Belonging to the allies, this system temporarily trasports a unit to any place on the map.  The Russians have both the iron curtain, a temporary invincibility device, and the tesla coil.  The tesla coil serves as a giant bug zapper for all units.
